Matt Durant, founder and principal
Matt Durant is the founder and principal of MBWG Software. He is also a sitting CISO at a publicly traded company in Atlanta, where he runs SOX IT general controls, user access reviews, change management, and security operations under audit every year.
His work goes well beyond policy. Matt designs and builds security architecture, identity and access integrations, ticketing orchestration, security data pipelines, and ERP access models, and he prepares the security reporting that boards, CFOs, and regulators rely on. Clients get an operator who has lived on both sides of the audit, not a career consultant.
